I have had this Gorgar for a while. It was a restoration. It has a Kohout mpu and rebuilt driver board.

For sometime it has been doing random resets on occasion and will sometimes reset at power on if cold - ball will try to kick a couple of times and then game goes dead. Shut it off and turn back on and usually everything is okay.

I finally decided to tackle the issue today since I have the day off. I checked BRs and components on the power supply - all checked out okay. I have a new power supply that I was saving for another pin so decided to install it to see if would resolve the problem. After I installed the new PS, all coils are dead. Game will start, sound will play, but no coils including flippers. I have power to the coils, and in diagnostics all coils work. I checked fuses on the new PS and all are okay.

Any advice/guidance would be greatly appreciated. Happy 4th to everyone!

So I reinstalled the original PS and now back in business. I am guessing I will still have random resets which I will still need to track down. Could be the slam switch - will check.

Anybody had experience with Gulf Pinball products - that is the new PS?
