Seems someone did a pretty poor repair job which I'm trying to fix. But looking at the manual, the colors of the cables don't match the cables that should go in to J120. Also, the connectors right now seems to be in places they shouldn't be. Anyone got this machine and would be so kind to check the cable setup, colors of cables etc.?

Thanks!

/Stefan

Scroll down a little for wire colors. Your game may not use all of them, but the ones your game does have, will go in the same spots.

I would get molex connectors and replace every single IDC on the game. I HATE those things.

Perfect! Thanks all, I'll order a new molex connector and will get that fixed as well.

Where do you guys buy these connectors? Went past the local electronics store and they didn't have any 11 pin ones. Link?

https://www.greatplainselectronics.com/ Ed has tools and parts. Size .156 for what you have there.

I'd replace connector and pins on the board. They probably burned previous to the questionable repair.

I really don't understand this type of hack repair. On my NoFear I had to repair the same thing. They not only had the wires in the wrong location, but also tried to drip solder on the pins of the connector. All better now.

Edit: I see Loyd already suggested a place to buy what you need.

J120 and J121 have the same connections to the driver board. If the wires don't match J120, look at J121 and see if they match there. You can plug either connector into J120 and J121.

I got the cables in the correct place now but I have also ordered new connectors so will replace them when they arrive. But, I have another issue which I believe is very much related to J120/J121. I'll create a new post to avoid confusion.

Thanks!
