My fishtales just developed an odd issue where both rows 7 and 8 appear to have ground shorts that are pulsing. What is really odd though is when I unplug the connector on the board to the rows, the shorts go away. I can take a jumper and connect it from the rows to the columns and it works fine on the board. I examined all the wiring in both rows and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I've never seen an issue where the short was pulsing like this.

Any ideas?

What about the reel opto board? The game is on location and I was trying to troubleshoot it today but my kid wasn't being patient so I had to leave.

The boat switches aren't on row 7 or 8. I wish I took a picture. It looks like the rows are shorted together and pulsing in switch test. I've never seen anything like it before. I was thinking it was a board issue but typically when I unplug the row connector it should continue which it doesn't.

This is exactly what I'm thinking. I'll check it out and report back.
