I am looking at restoring a Fishtails to a base line machine. Another words not extra mods/powering just a nice looking machine.
I have a spare and was wondering if I should trade it for a POTC. What are your thoughts? I am going to trade it as I have an amazing one that will be at the TPF. Restored above and beyond. I will never trade it as it's in my personal collection. I might go for a hobbit with some extras tied to it. Just not sure I want to pony out that capital. Pinball has about tapped me out with their inflated prices. I have two games that aren't out yet that I will grab later but then I do not see my self buying and buying.

Fish Tales... 2.2k on average? POTC....4k+ on average? Math alone says do it, and frankly, I think POTC is way more fun. FT is a very shallow pond...

Both are great games, but very different. I own both. You can't go wrong with either. Potc tends to gave longer ball times, but I've had long balls on ft too. Rules are deeper on Potc. Shooting is great on both games, satisfying to make the shots.

I also own both. Enjoy FT and its history with me. Really really enjoy POTC. POTC is a nice change from FT. Longer games, really cool toys, great theme, nice depth and a looker. I'd get POTC as pin owners should have some variety over time coming into the home with new (to you) games as well as different games.
