as above. i get 52 volts ac coming in from the plug. but when i test at TP6 i am getting 74 volts. I replaced the bridge rectifier with no change. I am guessing the problem is with the capacitor c8 (100 uf/150volts) because that is the only other component in the schematics beside the resistor( which measures appropriate at 10k) that is there. But i thought capacitors did not affect voltage? If i dont do anything will this start blowing coils or flashers?

Sounds about right, what is it you are trying to fix?

Your coils will only blow if you lock them on and the fuses dont blow.
Your flashers use 20V not 50V...completely different circuit.

well i had multiple issues that are now fixed. it just says on the board the tp6 was 50 volts and i was measuring 75, so wanted to make sure i was good.
