Every once in a while, while I am playing my game, the sound will slowly turn down automatically. Once in a while it will go completely down. Then it will come back randomly. Not sure if it is a speaker issue, loose connection, or something in the board. It doesn't go off and then on at all, it goes down a little bit and then will stay there and then come back........totally random...any thoughts????????

Check for battery corrosion on the WPC board.

The Fish Tales is the most "contact-sensitive" DOT pin, because not only shock the knocker, but the fish-tail too.
1st: Remove data cables and back
2nd: Carefully(!) pull the IC-s from sockets -U18, U13, U10 and U11- and put back.

Reseat (and possibly adjust for a tight fit) the connector on the speaker in the bottom of the cabinet. Have a BSD that did this forever and that's all it ended up being.

It does seem like it is after the fish tail has rattled a bit......but I will check all the suggestions.....it's weird though because the volume just goes down a little bit and then comes up and sometimes out....if it was a connection, wouldn't it just be on and off?
Thanks again

Not necessarily.
If the contact problem has into the "digital side" of the sounboard, then possible the volume just goes down a little bit and then comes up and sometimes out.

One question: visible on the display the volume changing?
