The next step is to figure out where there is a short in the yellow GI circuit. That does not involve replacing the connector or reflowing the header pins or pulling the power driver board. It does involve a visual inspection of *every* connection on the yellow GI circuit under the playfield as well as the associated wiring and sockets.
Remove all the lamps from the yellow GI circuit and play the game - does the fuse blow? If so, find where the yellow GI wiring is shorting to something under the playfield. If not, re-install NEW lamps one by one until either all are replaced and the fuse doesn't blow or you find a problematic socket.
