Wonder what would be a keeper in a small collection..Played both and liked both

but FT music and HS2 video mode drove me nuts.

I know several people who've had HS2 for years ( like B_R ) and still enjoy it.
Fish Tales I liked for a few months, but then it wasn't missed much when it left.

No reason to keep FT if you don't like the music. I like the game, but couldn't stomach it for long if I only had a few games, especially if I didn't like the music.

In a small collection, if I had a choice between HS2 and FT, I would take HS2 hands down based on game play alone.

Id vote for HS2 but there are no choices in your poll?

I am the minority that prefers FT.

Hmmm, you are in a fast car with a hot chick by your side in a police chase trying to getaway or you are........... fishing?
So, HS2. Fast loops! Supercharger! ZZ Top! Move up your gears to Redline Mania! Getting away is fun and Super Jackpot is a bass filled rush!

Fishtales is really good also. They both are reasonably priced and can be traded out later on, so really either is going to be a winner for you. Good luck

Two GREAT pins. I own both, not even close to selling either.
I have to go with FT. I feel that there is more to shoot for. Getting jackpots on FT is very satisfying and not always easy. Or going for monster fish is fun too. There are a lot of hurry up/timed shots on FT that get my adrenaline running.

Quoted from Pimp77:

I am the minority that prefers FT.

I'm not so sure that would be a minority.

OP should add a poll (which isn't currently working).

I prefer HS2 out of those two titles.

Need to fix your poll.

My vote goes to FT in a photo finish--HSII is a great game too (can't go wrong either way).

My dad has a HS2 as his only pin and loves it. He plays it all the time.

FT for me

#14 7 years ago

I'll probably make my collection bigger before I sell either. If I had to chose one to ditch though it would be FT. I've had Getaway for a couple years now and I still love playing it.

FT, no question about it.

#16 7 years ago

My vote is for HS2.

Somewhat shallow game, but a whole lot of fun.

I had FT for years - sold and miss it.
HS2 I owned for weeks sold and like to visit it in others collections.

For me FT would be the choice. I sold mine to make room for something that I cannot even remember now...bad choice to sell for me.

I have both and love both. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Love the boat ramp on ft !!

Had both in a collection of 4 to 5 pins. Just sold HS2. Just more to do on FT. I really enjoyed HS2 but even when set on 3 ball play I would get to red line mania more often then not.

The Getaway for certain. One of my childhood favorites and most certainly holds up today. Have never gotten to the Super Jackpot before though (maybe I just suck)

#22 7 years ago

I like FT a lot more.

I have a sweet HS2 in a small 2 pin collection (for now). It gets played constantly. No intention of selling it anytime soon.

No chance of fixing the poll huh?

Would have to go for HS2 as well. All around good game. I owned both and liked FT, but it got boring after a while. HS2 is just a classic that I never got tired of. HS2 is one game that I do miss.

HS2 didnt have staying power for me. Fun game though.

Fishtales for me, one of my faves...

Both great games. But seriously, what is with the hate for FT music? It's a little hokey but it's supposed to be. I love it for what it is, matches the theme perfectly. What should it be, metal riffs? It's well done and sounds great if you upgrade the bottom speaker. Love it.

Again both games are great but for pure unique theme I'd say FT. Loads of fun.

I sold my HS2 to buy a FT and I don't regret it.
HS2 gets repetitive...locking your green, yellow, red balls

FT has lots more to offer.

#32 7 years ago

I have both and the Fish wins.

EDIT: however I should mention that the action in HS2 is pretty darn good.

Can't fix poll.
