I am thinking of doing a swap with my BSD for a FT ina a 1 for 1 exchange.
Is the only strategy for FT doing the ramps?
Looking at videos I feel that BSD has more going for it.
I am sick and tired of BSD and want something new or money.

The only real strategy on Fishtales for a real score is super jacks. Like scores in the billions I mean...

In a tournament it could be better to get some monster fish though...

I am thinking of strategies when you have it at home and only playing by myself :/
Is there something more rewarding than ramp ramp monster fish or multiball?

I'd say BSD and FT are comparable depth wise, ie they aren't super deep. However, both of them are 2 of my faves of all time...

There is also separate high score tables for amount of fish caught and total lies told. Going for Feeding Frenzy is fun as well, or rock the boat. I'm probably a bit biased as Fish Tales is one of my fave pins ever...

I agree with Super Jackpots as a must for high scores. It's not easy by any means. Jackpots are 2 stage in FT. First get a ball into casters club, and secondly hit the upper hole to claim the timed jackpot. Do this 3 times to activate supers.
Second time around, jackpots are doubled.
My strategy...claim the 3 jackpots, then go back into single ball play.(if you've lost 1 ball) Because now, when you hit multiball again...super is lit from the start. Slam that captive ball over and over!

On FT - casual play I always go for Monster Fish and usually did in league as well. Just a lot more fun for some reason for me. That said, my hands down favorite moments in pinball is getting a castle jackpot on BSD - nothing else comes close to hearing that scream and getting a 450 Mil jackpot. If you look at my collection I've had a few FTs, but the only one of the two I hang onto is BSD...

FT is one of those games that are simple to explain yet difficult to master. The beauty of FT is that it has two legitimate paths to take and ways to approach the game. I think it has great replay value, especially if you have friends that enjoy the game. It really is one of those "ultimate battle" type of games. It's fast, ruthless, and so much fun. Give it a whirl!
