I too look at the CPR preorder page regularly and just hover over the button!! Of all the playfields they've produced, I'm really surprised FT has dragged out as long as it has. FT is always heavily insert damaged, I know mine is.
I've considered insert decals but im put off by how bumpy it may make the pf. Has anyone tried them? Do they disturb the ball much? Id be interested to hear.

Thanks mate. I've opted for an overlay decal. It covers the stringer, tackle box and bonus X inserts, so it's quite a biggy.

Having just shopped out my FH and used a lexan playfield protector, I'm seriously impressed, so gonna get one for FT too. That should mask any bumpiness

Well I'm UK based and pinball heaven has them in stock at £63.
I got the topper decals from best of pinball in Germany.
I'm guessing you'd get them from Marcos if they have them.

Here's a strange one. Ive owned my fishtales for about 2 years. It gets played at least once a week but more often than not its most evenings.

In this 2 year period I have had about 4 resets when pushing the ball launch button as these era of games do when the hv section is failing. The ball launch coil is fine. Measures 4.3 ohms resistance.

Start button is fine. At any rate I would expect a short anywhere to blow a fuse and not cause a reset.

The only common denominator I can think of is, each time it happens the game has been on for a longer period of time. Normally I'm only playing for an hour tops but when it happens the machine has generally been on for a couple of hours.

Anyone had similar or have any ideas?

I hear ya. But normally a good double flip will cause a reset if that's the problem but I can double flip all day, no drama. It's so infrequent I'll leave changing the bridges, just wondered if anyone cleverer than me (most people) had an idea.
