Quoted from n1teowl:Any one ever had a problem with the right orbit "Long Cast" shot draining straight down the middle? Any ideas on how I should adjust my FT so that it doesn't automatically drain when it hits that rubber on the left side (next to the reel)? Any advice would be great.
Yes. that 3/4" ring is way too wide and causes the ball to bounce off of it after it exists the metal guide. To fix mine, I took off the plastic above it, then added another yellow star post, upside down, into the center of the ring. I did not screw this down or anything, just added it behind the other 2 posts that you see from the PF. This stretched the 3/4" ring out more to not make it stick out past the edge of the metal side guide.
You could also try thinner rings--especially if you're using those mushy PBL ones. Try some from Marco/PBR (PRW branded) or Titans, they may be thinner to not cause the ball to brush it as much.
It seems like there should be a 5/8" ring that would be closer to the right size there, so the only thing you can do is make it stretch more -- if you've already verified proper leveling of course.
