You could say I'm a fan. My first pin, purchased in 2006 for way too much. I might be able to break even on it now, except I'll never sell it. It's been moved to 5 different homes and 3 states since then.

That's a downgrade IMO. AFM is fun, but overhyped and overpriced I think. Had one for a while and got rid of it. FT was the first pin I ever owned. Dozens of others have come and gone since, but FT will never leave!

I swear, FT ghosts worse than any other machine. I just installed the LED OCD board, which takes care of the ghosting and makes the LEDs look much more natural. Not cheap, but this pin is my baby! I also installed the Monster Fish mod. I'm not a big MOD/figure guy, but this one looks pretty good and is not too obtrusive.

Sacrilege!

I have always hated the tiny cheap ball launch button on the shooter reel and tried to find the prototype one for years without any luck. I finally got a Stern "Tournament Start" button and retrofitted it. Not as easy of a mod as I expected, and I had to cut away some of the inside of the reel to get it to fit, but it looks so much better now!

Also upgraded to more modern LEDs from the Cointaker kit I originally installed in 2010. Warmer whites for the GI and brighter ones for some of the inserts. I also got tired of random resets a while ago and bought an aftermarket power supply board which solved that problem.

I have the monster fish mod with glowing red eyes. I wish color DMDs were a thing back when I replaced my original one about 15 years ago. It definitely does look good, but I can’t see replacing the DMD again when it works perfectly fine.
