Some people like the Scooby Doo Lake Monster / Monster fish mod - does look very like the Monster Fish. Some people hate it.
I have seen a few people change bumper caps to blue or green, rubbers likewise to give it a colour makeover.

I went with clear pop bodies to brighten up the top area, swapped out red for blue pop caps. I did add the Monster Fish, such a beauty of a mod, great integration with eyes. Love it. some colored rubber and all good for me!!!

I am trying to put a Fish Finder together. That damned insert is tough to see.
I've always wanted a Fish Finder to put adjacent to the reel so you can see when it is lit without having to peek through the habitrail.
Can I ask what a beat fish tales is going for these days? Here are some pics.

I see the topper and shooter reel handle are there, so that's good. Is the rest of it complete with the translite, mechs, and boards? Does it turn on?
I see the cabinet is splitting a little by the shooter, but that can easily be glued back together.
Project B/W DMD pins are always in demand.
Game is complete. There is pics of the driver board there. It will not boot with that board. I put a spare in and it boots. All complete. Did not start a game as the old cpu had acid that leaked to the connectors. So I would not plug them into a good cpu.

Tech question has anyone had an issue with the catapult delayed on multiball? Basically what happens is multiball starts the reel feeds the ball into the catapult then it stalls for a 2-3 secs and then fires... it will do this for all 3 balls when loading so they come out really slow.

Switch on catapult is not working properly, the game still fires the balls, but it takes longer.

Have you tried cleaning the entire assembly? Might be getting bad contact on your switch?

Pinball parts Australia is out of stock but you could see if they are going to get more . They have the left-hand side , why is the right-hand side so hard to get ?

That complete left and right sides i believe was one set Mark found in his stash, that he's been working through for some time now. Don't think it lasted long on his site either 
It seems the bolts for the handles are also impossible to find too, well, at least one side of them is. Always did wonder about the lack of right hand sides too, maybe cause a majority of players would be gripping the assembly with the right hand and it wears quicker? Not that it would stuff the metal though, only the nickel plating.

I ran into this with Demo man. The female half of the security machine screw assembly is tough to get. You can find them in 10/32 all day but I believe the are 8/32. I was looking to upgrade all the hardware to stainless.

if you go them made, you could fire them off to Chris at pinball plating, probably do quite well on them if you cast lots of them. I bet many people need

I just had that exact same problem on my FT. It is the switch in the catapult that doesn't register a ball is there. On mine it was a broken wire or diode (Don't actually remember). Usually an easy fix, unless the switch itself is broken.
As others stated, it still works with a broken switch, as the game knows it released a ball from the reel. So after 2-3 seconds it fires the catapult.
Quick question:
Where does your ball "land" / hit when ejected from the reel? Mine sometimes hits the left metal ball guide just above the flipper, which totally "kills the speed" of the ball, and then often results in the ball just bouncing off into the flipper gap with no way to save it. Other times i'm more lucky, and it hits the left flipper.
I guess i could bend the metal wire ramp more to the right, but i'm afraid to overdo it and break it.

Tooling molds exist for left side but right side were lost is what I heard. I guess it's too expensive to recreate and not enough demand.

Im going to look into a cnc’d version. Or at minimum a 3D printed in the toughest plastic that can be printed.
Anything’s possible once I CAD out the handles.

It should hit the upper part of the left flipper called the elbow. If the flipper is up, it will go up the left inlane.
The hole in the support for the end of the ramp is slotted, so you can shift it left and right for adjustment. If it is set all the way to the right, you could move the screw over.

I just picked up a re-import with more cabinet fade, but a better playfield for $2,500 shipped. I don't think you are going to find one for much less than that, even if it's in worse shape.

That's a fair point. I was at least going to get the mermaid since it's on the side of the back box and my 3 yr old loves mermaids
My speaker panel artwork is scratched and has a nice cig burn in it. Where can I buy a repro? I'm only spotting them a Ministry of Pinball in Europe and with the lighted speaker panel mod as an add on. I'm hoping to find just the plexi in the States. Any ideas? Thanks!

I have them and they're all in the game so I feel like they work , don't worry about air balls they're tuff as . I also like the fishing rod if you can find it .
