    Good Morning Everyone,

Recently swapped out the playfield in a Fish Tales. Upon boot it's blowing F116 on powerup. When I measure AC voltage coming from the transformer I get 4 volts on one of the two white/green lines and 13 volts at the connector in the bottom of the cabinet.

Transformer issue or should I be looking elsewhere?

    Thanks,

    Joe

This recently happened to me with a TOTAN swap. You likely have a lamp socket that got squeezed on the solder contact side and it is shorting out your GI circuit, or whatever lights F116 is protecting. My short was on the back side of the playfield back panel and likely got that way from putting the playfield down on the floor resting on the back panel.
