I'm giving my FT a topside cleaning and noticed that my game had 2 star posts near the top of the mountain plastic. What type of post or machine screw is supposed to go next to the metal ball guide?

Bump. Can any FT owner tell me the correct configuration for this area? A picture would be helpful. I'm guessing maybe a thin metal post.

Here's a link to the manual....should help you out. I don't have pics of my FT online.

Page 2-45 will show that' it's not two star post but looks more like a star post and either a 02-4435 or 02-4434 post that goes there.

That's cool because I have extra of both of those posts (and I've already made 3 orders to get this job done). If anyone can post a picture of what's going on in that area it would be appreciated. My plastic was cracked off when I bought the game but I have a funky repro for that area.

Anybody out there have a NOS mountain piece in decent shape? I would buy or trade for it.

Does this help?

Even the pic above is wrong according to the book. The post seems right but only one rubber for both..

#7 9 years ago

Ahh, so you are saying the posts are correct, but only one rubber connected to both posts instead of individual rubbers on each post?

Here's what mine looks like. It's one star and some type of plastic post with a long screw.image.jpgimage.jpg

last pic is correct, mine has that also.
