    This is the right answer. You play because you're there, you don't go to play. The people are what make it a special event. You go to hang out with your pinball friends who aren't local, it's been the event everyone travels to. Maybe not anymore, I dunno. I'm skipping it this year and I'm not alone. Sure it won't be a ghost town or anything though.

    And Sunday is useless, no reason to be there for it.
