Quoted from HooperTriplett:

Have eyeballed that many times over the past month - wish I had some experience with the gameplay. Good reviews, and that and Wizard of Oz would be the two newer games that we'd consider right now.

The people I've sold that title to love it, but I understand buying without playing.

You also have to know what your comfort level is on fixing these machines. Granted there's no guarantees with a new machine but something that's 20 + years old at this point is going to need the Playfield lifted at some point.
I personally don't see why $3,850 Shadow is a great deal but that's me. For not much more money he can get a new in box game.

Quoted from guitarded:

A NIB Game is no guarantee against having to do maintenance / repair work.

I did preface it by saying there's no guarantees and it depends on your level of mechanical ability. Some people just want to plug in and press the start button. A new game will have a warranty. One that is 26 years old does not.
