    Anyone know what the first game was with LEDs on the playfield, in a mech or behind the backglass. Not on the pcbs as we saw those in the 70s. Jpop?

    Factory installed your saying ,, an actual Led or light board ,, FGY has them under the
    Stewie p/f .. POTC has them in the Treasure chest .. This is a Tough 1 . Gotta think older

    AFM had them in 1995, but I'm sure there are some before that.

    Time 2000 had LEDs in the apron scoring in 1977.

    Here's a video of Xenon w/ Custom Led's and a 1979 Atari " Middle Earth "

    You're right, after I reread John's post. He wanted to know the earlist LED's installed in a game, not on printed circuit boards. That nullifies any display and light tubes since they use pcb's too. This makes things a lot tougher to figure out. Back to square one for me.
