Sadly everyone's giving you the right advice even though as Chrisbee cheekily said, BNIB does sound cool. There are so many great games out there that if your patience doesn't hold out, you can get something really pretty neat for a budget price. It doesn't have to be a Medieval Madness or a Star Trek The Next Generation to be great fun.
