That's good advice, except the odds are, he's not going to want to sell MET in a year (or ever, for that matter). So the better advice, in my opinion, is to buy MET now, and start putting a few hundred bucks a month aside. After a year or so when you are up to the price of a NIB game, buy a GB premium. Code should be further along by then and you'll probably be looking to expand your lineup by then as well.
