Any chance of designing the scoop protector with just an L-design that allows a slow roll from the right? Or even a notched-out protector, something like this:

The front end of my scoop is starting to chip and I'm not sure a Mantis is going to stop it. Maybe even just a front edge like the TAF vault setup you have.
