Quoted from Marty_Graw77:I’m curious (especially after all the Zombie Yeti Godzilla comments); after hearing about how “terrible” the art package is, who would’ve preferred the Brian Allen/Flyland Designs rejected art package? For those that don’t know, he submitted this art for this machine and was supposedly rejected by the band.

Hi all, saw myself tagged here and just wanted to clarify something:
This older Queen artwork I created shown here was never intended to be part of the package - it was just something Andrew Heighway hired me to put together a while back (Holy heck, FOUR years ago!) to pitch a "style" to the band. At the time, the band wanted something very conservative that depicted the band photorealistically, but Andrew wanted to take a different approach.
I created this image pretty quickly to demonstrate what a more caricature-driven approach would look like. So it was really more of a quick art test, and not fully finished artwork. I did another one as well that depicted Freddie more realistically.
Alternatively, the band wanted to go with something inspired by the Radio Ga Ga video, at the time.
In my opinion, I think the artwork for the Pinball Bros Queen backglass looks great. It's hard to imagine what could be done differently with a band like this - they don't really have the fantastic iconic imagery that a band like (for example) Iron Maiden has. I think the photo-tracing method used here is really the only way to handle a band like this.
