I just picked up my second demo man. Super excited to get another one and in even better shape. I have always wondered what game I would buy twice for some reason or another and this is the one! What others have bought doubles of and why?

I usually buy 2-3 of the same title to get better PF's or backglasses to make one really nice one. Gottlieb High Hand x 2, Soccer x 2, Bally SBM x 2, Paragon x 3, Playboy x 2, Xenon x 2, Mata Hari x 3, Strikes and Spares x 3 and Space Invaders x 2. Make a keeper, sell the rest.
Quoted from Rockytop:I bought LOTR yesterday and it was the first one I bought twice.
And an amazing lotr at that.
Eight ball deluxe is only one I have owned twice and it is only because the second one was $200
Medieval Madness was the first. There were many more after that. Being a recovering pinball addict, I limit myself to 2-3 pins MAX at a time now. If I want a new one, an existing one has to go. So there's lots of re-buying over the years.
But it's kept the addiction effects under control. I do not have any pin storage units.
The first game I ever bought twice was BSD. I sold it and bought a third one, which is now gone.
I've also owned IM, BDK, and Sopranos 3 times. IM was the first game I bought NIB. I had the chance to buy it back from the guy I sold it to and did, then sold it and bought my third one a few weeks ago.
Games I've owned 2 or more times: BSD (3), IM (3), BDK (3), Sopranos (3), JD (2), RoadShow (2), JM (2), POTC (2), WPT (2), Devils'Dare (2), and Mibs (2)
Games I've owned and would buy a second time: White Water, CV, TSPP, Monopoly, and AC/DC Premium or Pro (I've owned both)
Games I would like to own for the first time: LOTR and WOZ
So I guess the question for me is, what will be the first game I own 4 times?
Wizard! at least 5 times.
Sing along. twice
Volley. twice.
Atlantis twice.
Currently own two of each, with the exception of Atlantis (should of kept it). Volley is getting lots of play. Great game!
My first two pins back in 1983, both Count-Downs. The seller offered me the second one for $100... someone had taken an axe to the cabinet, it worked otherwise. Also my first "restoration"... not proud of that one.
2 haunted houses at once from a fire engine collector . games 12 and 13 in 1988. Had over 100 games more than once. Most is de star wars with 52. Most at once? 7 space invaders out of a operators shed. Most moved at once but not mine. 8 st TNG on behalf of pinball heaven in 1997 when pinball was dying. Most currently is 5 de star trek.
Multi game pics are fun!

First one to come back after selling it was Air Aces (2), Scared Stiff (2), followed by Tommy (2), TOM (2), Volley (2), MB (2), MM (2). Had seller's remorse immediately on SS. The others are still here except Volley and TOM...I really wanted to like TOM, but got bored, then good, then bored, and gone.
As far as keepers, I sold a very nice GTL Pop-A-Card. Had seller’s remorse as I was helping load it up. Two days later an even nicer one came up for sale locally - at a little over half of what I sold the first one for. Several years later - it’s still here and going nowhere.
WH20 x2
JD x2
STTNG x2
Shadow x2
JM x2
These ones I have bought back a second time and never sold again because I really missed them.
DM x3
After the third time I was done and besides I needed the cash and space for another game Creech.
I have also owned TSPP twice but sold it due to longer ball times.
Eight Ball Deluxe was my first double. LOTR was the second, and Harlem Globetrotters was the third. Sunday my second Solar City will arrive at my house.
Both Harlems are still here. The one on the right has the plastic prototype playfield and plays amazingly. I wish Bally had continued that little experiment.
