Firepower
Williams, 1980Through the years I have seen game cabinet that were made out of scrap wood from other games. Just picked up this Firepower that has a strange wood on the bottom. This is definately a factory job but I can't figure out what game this wood came from...if any. Heck it may have been leftover paneling from the employee break room!
The design is "routed" in to the wood so you can feel it.
Anyone have any ideas???

It was likely used because it was probably cheap material that may have been a cast-off/reject, they weren't able to get enough of the regular material fast enough, and/or a combination of both.

Had several FirePowers with brick pattern.

Lenc Smith wasted almost nothing. I recall the skeleton from Killer Instinct was carefully cut out and hung on the wall at that plant.
