Also, make sure the kick-out hole plastic has the two ribs intact on the plastic cup (where the ball sits). These usually break off and the ball will not leave the cup in the correct direction if they are gone. More than likely the problem is with the alignment of the right rail. The ball should be headed to the left flipper after it's released.
