Hi, I am having a little trouble with my Firepower.

If I powered it on it was going into attraction mode with flickering lights and hiscore display switching from 000000 to 555000 (or something). I couldn't get it to start, have three balls in the game.
It was on freeplay last time I played the machine. But it's been in storage for 1,5 year.

So, I read somewhere on this board that it might be the batteries. So, I placed three new ones in the external battery holder, booted it up. Errorcodes 1497 2 and 04 00 came up. No flickering lights, they were just on now. Can't get out of this error. Switched the old batteries back but that didn't help.

I am kinda stuck now. So any help is much appreciated

Photo with errorcodes on the two displays, the others displays are off.

The flicking-the-power-switch-twice with coin door open trick worked!
After shutting it down it and turning it on it keeps going into attraction mode as usual. So that's sorted. So no need to replace the batteryholder and no memory problem I guess.

But now, it's "stuck" in attraction mode.
How can I start a game? No sound, just flickering lights and the hiscore display switching from 550000 to 000000. Three balls in the game and the start button is not responding.

I do however, have no coin mechs and settings switches whatsoever installed at the moment.
I have it taken apart for a thorough cleaning. The coin door is completely empty from the backside.
Just the white molex plug hanging with nothing connected.
But if I remember correctly I could start a game even without that stuff attached, or am I wrong?
It's been some time since I last played the machine.

Thanks for the info Barakandl.
I will re-attach the coin door switches at least, so I can alter the settings.

I was able to set it to free play. When I press start button it credits and get's ready to play, but the kicker doesn't kick the ball in the shooter lane. In fact, none of the solenoids work, no flippers, bumpers etc.
I ran the diagnostics test. Displays work, lights work, sound work but none of the coils

Thanks Barakandl and Viperrwk, I will check the fuse.
