I have a Firepower, the left eject (left lock) does not eject the ball... at the start of the multiball the machine states "Fire 1", "Fire 2" but does not give the FIRE 3 sound clip.

The left eject does not work during the solenoid test.

The eject coil has power to it, and fires when it is shorted to ground. I have continuity from the coil all the way back to the Q21 transistor on the driver board.

I'm a little lost once I'm troubleshooting on the boards,.. so any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Quoted from zacaj:

Take the board out and use your multimeter to test the transistor and its predriver (the smaller three legged transistor associated with it). If either of them doesn't read the same as the same ones to either side, you'll need to replace it. It could also be the and gate or PIA, but that gets a bit more complicated to test.

Can I get step-by-step procedures on how to test the transistors? What modes of the multi meter, and what am I my looking for?

I know there are three legs for each transistor. So I test each of the three legs, but where do I test between?

Thank you.
