I have a Firepower machine with an issue of when a ball is kicked in the shooter lane, it initiates the right ball capture to kick out constantly until the ball is shot. Also after the ball hits the right bumper nearest to the right flipper it tilts and sometimes resets while playing. I can't get it to diagnostic mode also. Any suggestions on where to start???
Without looking at the manual I'd say you've got a switch matrix issue going on there where it's reading multiple switches closed when only one is. So closing the shooter lane switch is making g the MPU think the sickout hole switch is closed too. This is usually a bad diode under the playfield but it also could be a board problem . Firepower.2ya.com is a valuable resource for troubleshooting.
