Just my opinion but I think the original type 89 incandescent globes work better in these inserts in Firepower. Leds react too quickly whereas the incandescent globes come on and go off slower so look better and provide a superior effect.

Also if you use leds you may need to remove the keep warm resistor that is used on these 89 globe positions, otherwise there can be enough current flowing to light the leds.
