My machine does not have those coils on the door so as I am finishing restoring it and leaving everything mechanically fine, I found a page called MarcoSpecialties and I don't know what number the coil is and if I find it there.

@Billc479
Do you know if in www.marcospecialties.com sell that?
And thanks

#4 3 years ago

No idea if they sell them. If this is for home use, you really don’t need it. The only reason for it to be there is to reject coins if the machine is off.

#5 3 years ago

Billc479 I just checked and if they sell them, out of curiosity, what is your machine?

#6 3 years ago

Here is the coil on Marcos.

The one on my machine has no base.

Not sure if you're going to have problems mounting a new coil. Is the mounting bracket or lockout assembly missing? As Billc479 said, you really don't need it to play the game, or even to accept coins.

Quoted from JethroP:

No estoy seguro de si tendrá problemas para montar una nueva bobina. ¿Falta el soporte de montaje o el conjunto de bloqueo? Comobillc479 dijo, realmente no lo necesitas para jugar, ni siquiera para aceptar monedas.

Well they are right in that, although if I want to leave my machine as well restored as possible, then I will get them without bases, all normal

The picture I posted is the coin door of my Firepower. It was bought when Gene Cunningham was selling a bunch of his machines to raise cash for Illinois Pinball. I paid $400 for a non working machine that required a simple repair to the MPU. There's a manufacturing blemish on the playfield, otherwise, it looks and plays great.

So your machine is the original firepower? Do you think you could send another photo to see the mechanism better?

Because I realize what I put Firepower No Firepower II

Here’s pics. The first pic is looking at the bottom of the coin door.

Impressive, your machine looks great I loved it! This is system 6, mine is 7 so I am between buying or the original or the one with a base but I hope that JethroP Can solve me which is better

Not sure this will help. Can't read any numbers. Not sure if it works, as I don't use it, but here's a pic.

And by any chance does anyone know what voltage drives those coils or the bell?

#18 3 years ago

The coin lockout coil operates on 24 volts DC and has a diode across it.

@KenLayton
Is this right?
