Quoted from fireball2:

That's the multiball talking. SO killer. Wotan CAPtured!!!

But what does it say when you use the Little Demon and what does it say at the end of a game?

Alternately says "Bang!" Bif!" Zap"! "POW!". Kind of unique at the time to say different phrases semi randomly for the same feature.

At that price, I'd buy two!

Quoted from swampfire:

What's the "right price" for a nonworking FB2 in better-than-average cosmetic condition?

How "non-working" is it? Is it missing parts or boards? And what is the overall condition of the playfield, backglass and cabinet?

#95 8 years ago
Quoted from swampfire:

Overall nice condition, was working until recently so no boards are missing.

Oh! Oh! Can I say "Probably just a fuse"?

Quoted from pinkid:

Just picked up a FB2 today. Decent survivor w/ excellent backglass. Cab has some scuffs but not faded. Looking forward to getting it up and running and restoring it. Getting a solid green light on the MPU as is...............

Will we get to see any pictures?

Quoted from Aurich:

I'll get a better backbox photo, as far as I can tell someone made a custom stencil based on the backglass for it. Maybe they had it in the middle of a room?

Good news !! Got another S&T board and I now have speech/sound !! This project is coming along nicely. My "doodlebug" device w/the ball under the playfield that is activated w/the Doomsday bonus isn't working. How does this thing work anyway?? Haven't tinkered w/it at all. Is there a solenoid that drives it???

There's a magnet coil and a (logic) switch underneath. The coil is turned on and the ball is pulled towards the centre hitting the switch, and the game turns off the coil. The ball keeps rolling up to the top of the chamber and starts down. When the switch is hit again, the coil is turned on again and so on and so on.

The Fireball Unit relay. It controls the Fireball coil that makes the ball move back and forth.

The ones that light the captive ball under the playfield. I don't know the bulb number. It is larger than the 555s. I just finished putting LEDs in this machine. 555s are a real bitch. I like the 44/47 style better. Sharp edges on the sockets, way too tight getting the new bulbs in. Really had to tweak each one it seemed. Glad it's done. Really like the results.

Been many years since I worked on one, but I could swear they were #912 bulbs.

This is what should be under that black tag on the right side of the apron:
