Why on earth was the ancient 'Doodlebug' doing on a Fireball themed pinball anyway??

Norm Clark invented this feature back in the 1960s and despite protests from the game team at Bally, insisted it be included on Fireball II.

Some of us asked if it there was a way to capture the pinball and insert it into the Doodlebug, now that would be cool.
But no, Norm C insisted we just put the DB into the game as-is.

To quote my cousin Vinny, "You was serious about that?"

Been a while but I think its equivalent to the Williams MagneSave coil.

Its powered as any other coil. Should be 43v on one side of the coil and grounding the other side will make it fire. More likely the relay board that drives it is the problem.

Probably a loose wire. I would check the coil wires. They are very fine and can easily break away.
