Ah, truly a shame when a good machine goes down. 
Unfortunately once the bell/striker goes, there's no way to salvage it. I'm afraid it can never be repaired. I'll take it off your hands for free, though! Ship to:

And if you wouldn't mind stuffing some packing material in between the playfield plastics so they don't get damaged in transit, I'd appreciate it. $20 bills work best for this purpose, but denominations up to $1000 are also acceptable.
