Is this a new pin for you? Had it awhile, or just got it? I ask because wondering if its wired backwards? If youve had it awhile and this is a new problem then maybe the black guide for post broke a little inside the guide path.

Mine works perfectly. Do you see it?
Compare pics. Took me a minute starring at yours.
So either your switch is upside down, 180 that guy, or wired backwards incliding the diode. My guess is the switch, cant see it to tell.
