Just joined the club (again)!

Just picked up this beauty GOT LE. The kicker isn't working (for lack of a better term, the kicker located at the Castle Black insert). Looked underneath the PF and can see nothing odd, other than one of the boards is missing something plugged in. I looked and can't see a molex that needs to plug into it. Can someone confirm if something indeed does need to be plugged into this? Thanks.

Thanks for the pic jrio. Good to know that I'm not missing a connector. For the other suggestions, thanks folks. I'm going to check that stuff out tonight when I get home from work. Had a birthday dinner to attend last night so didn't have a chance.

All is good everyone. I noticed the code was out of date (1.29) Updated it to current code, all is working fine. Thanks again for the assistance though!!

Ever since I bought my LE off of a fellow Pinsider, there's been issues with the kicker. Works sporadically. Finally decided to get off my ass and try and figure out what is causing the problem. First question I have, does anyone know if the kicker is activated via an opto?? I put it into switch test mode, used a long screwdriver and nothing triggered. Went back into the coil test, and the kicker works every time.

I consulted the owner manual, but I find the manual to be pretty useless. I have no idea which node board is responsible for the kicker....so I just unplugged and plugged back in a bunch of connectors. Still no joy.

Has anyone else run into this problem, and if so if you could point me in the right direction it would be utmost appreciated!

Luckydogg420 thanks again. I just got around to checking the connectors, it was loose. Working like a charm now.

Having an odd problem. Everytime I flip, the pin awards points, and a weird noise is associated with it. Kept experimenting, and launched House Stark. Cradled the ball on the left flipper, hit the right flipper, and it would cycle through all the characters in the House.

I know that's kind of vague explanation, but if someone might be able to point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the tips gents. Went into switch mode, didn't notice anything suspect....so just kept testing a bunch of switches. Decided to try it out. Played for a half hour, and issue seems to be gone. I can only hope that it's gone for good, 'cause I have no idea what I did to fix it! LOL
