It's time for Premium/LE owners to have their own club.

As an LE owner, anyone who is waiting on a premium, you are going to be extremely happy with your purchase. Hopefully everyone who has ordered an LE now has it. No better way to start 2016 than getting this pin.

Finally got my hands on an LE my local barcade got. Unfortunately it was just unboxed so it had a few issues. Most notably the left orbit didn't work. Hopefully it's sorted soon because this is the first new game in a while that left a great first impression on me. The upper playfield shoots really great, the light show is awesome, and it seems like one of those games it's going to take me a while to wrap my head around optimal strategies.

I think the prem/LE is a no brainer based on my short time with it.

#3 1 year ago

My premium should be ready soon I'd think. Can't wait.

Got the Stark siderails on order to.

The new side rails , do you need to drill holes in the cabinet?

Quoted from Trekkie1978:

I don't think so, I'm guessing you mean along the bottom edge of the rail.

I did request they have no extra holes in them from the maker so we shall see.

Maybe...

Count me in. I have GOT LE # 47.

I ordered the topper yesterday from Stern and it is out for delivery by UPS today. Being one day from Chicago via UPS is nice. Of course, the last time I ordered the Kiss topper I opened the box to find the Walking Dead topper looking up at me.

#12 1 year ago

Center, did your premium arrive yet?

#13 1 year ago

I'm present and accounted for. And the best part of this thread? No Kaneda.

#14 1 year ago

Expecting my Premium to ship out today! Can't wait. I already have the left orbit fix but my hope is I might not have to use it.

#15 1 year ago

Has anyone figured out how to start Wall Multi-ball?

I had it going the other day, but I have absolutely no idea how I did it.

#16 1 year ago

It's the dragon/Targaryan kickback. Gotta do it 6 times. The animation is often so delayed that it seems to be granted from other shots, which had me baffled for a while

Edit: then hit the right orbit to start

No word yet, was hoping to grab it tomorrow or Saturday.

#18 1 year ago

Can I join early? Bought an LE this week. Wont be delivered for another week, at least, though.?

I really want a topper but dang, $500 is steep. Maybe one day I'll give in but for now I'm passing on it. Did order a shaker motor though.

Speaking of shaker motors, I've heard of issues with them on spike games. Wasn't there something you had to look for to make sure you don't blow a board?

Thank you. I think the main problem with that shot, is no animation is capable of keeping up with it.

For this title, Stern should release a video of how to play/rules. It's gonna be very hard to justify selling this game.

The issues have been worked out. Very easy to install a shaker on a Spike game.

Those side rails look great on the Premium. Very cool the LE has the fire and blood and dragon and the Premium has their own options too.

#23 1 year ago

I was thinking of this if I don't go with the Stern topper. My wife collects dragons (thus the LE and not a prem) and this is from her collection. Pretty heavy though for what it is at about 5 pounds. Or maybe just not topper at all (leaning that way).

I'm interested to see how the gold purchase system fleshes out eventually. That was one of the things I was most excited about before getting the game and hearing about the rule set. I like the concept of a currency that affects features. Seems like potential for some neat things there.

I have to think the current Iron Bank/button system is kind of a placeholder. Cashing in multipliers for a couple million points doesn't amount to much when you're looking to reach the billions. I find myself just hitting the button when draining.

What would be a better use? Maybe double current multipliers for a period of time before setting back to 1x. Or cash in for gold, provided the purchases improve. Advancing each house by a shot for every so many multipliers. Lowering the shots needed to complete a house battle.

I just put my order in for a Premium today! Should be shipping out later this week.

Picking up my Premium on Saturday. Sitting in CT warehouse. Stupid work meetings kept me from leaving today or tomorrow.

Woohoo! Nitro? My alt translite for it actually showed up today as well (and looks amazing in person, much better than the pictures make it seem).

Starburst. I think the alternative translite looks good. Really want to see it in person.

Never bought a NIB pin but thinking of getting a GoT premium or LE. Any recommended distributors? Looks like most places are out of stock ... I would take reputable and decent price over in stock, but maybe I can find all 3.

#31 1 year ago

Trent at Tilt Amusements is great. Great price, and he might have some LEs left.

I just put mine on the Pro and had to screw the bottom down. Looks pretty good and was able to just screw them in without using a drill.

I'm getting airballs off the ramp with the ball getting stuck a few times just to the left of the Iron Throne.

Welcome to the Premium/LE Club!

I've been bricking those shots for a while. This is addressed in a couple other threads: The House of Lannister thread and (I think) the GOT Kicks Ass thread. A couple of things to try. I haven't yet because I'm too busy, but I REALLY hope they fix the problem.

There's the Lexan shield in the House Lannister thread:

https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/game-of-thrones-le-311-house-lannister/page/6#post-2937357

The airball reminds me of the TWDLE airballs off the bicycle girl ramp. It seems to be coming off early in the ramp, so I'm not sure if that Lexan Shdield comes down far enough.

The GOT Kicks Ass thread is here:

https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/got-kicks-ass

but the airball discussion there seems specific to the Pro.

#43 1 year ago

I've only put 40-50 games on my premium buy no airballs off the right ramp.

#44 1 year ago

I've put in over 400 games on my premium. Only air balls I get are during multiball. Just from so much going on at once.

#45 1 year ago

GoT LE rules. Steve Ritchie rules. Those 3-inch flippers on the mini PF are tuning in my soft touch on the flippers. . Trying to manage play in the upper and lower PFs during MB is way too much fun. Hurts the brain.....but I love it. Different than WPT and ELVIS, but similar in their upper PFs and multiple flippers for that dual PF MB experience. All of them are GREAT fun!! SR Rules. Whats next? Jimi Hendrix?

LE #67 checking in. Had two months have only played maybe 15 games. Ripped a tendon in bicep. Will be trying to play again this weekend. It hurts to play, almost as bad as not playing. Can't win. LOL

I had a torn rotator cuff fixed in May. I didn't start playing again until July, when I played, I had to stand off to the right side, cause the shoulder wasn't flexible enough for me to be centered. I couldn't nudge either. I sucked.

I have to decide in next two weeks if I'm getting surgery. See specialist Tuesday. Hearing you had to wait that long to play again. Man, it's been hard these 6 weeks for me. I've played it here and there when the arm was having a good day. How long before you were 100%?
