Nice work!
Quoted from PinballBulbs:This is sooo sweet. Love how the basement itself plays into the whole theme. Does the sink at the bar hve water hooked up to as well?
Yes sir, there is water and a mini fridge.
Quoted from McCune:Love the Pinball Asylum !
That's a GREAT name for it! I might have to get a neon sign made...with your permission of course
Quoted from dothedoo:I've been watching this from the beginning and it just amazes me how awesome it turned out. Great job!
Thank you, I really appreciate that!
Quoted from Thunder424:Well done. Both my wife and I love your style, and that's hard to do.
Lol, high praise indeed.
Quoted from Rockytop:That's a GREAT name for it! I might have to get a neon sign made...with your permission of course
That is what I think you should name it !! I will be pissed if you don't
Boy I gotta tell you when you first started I was thinking... I don't no,,,, but boy, you sure sucked me in. That turned out freaking awesome! I never would have figured a raw unfinished basement would turn out so excellent!
I second the opinion of the name " Pinball Asylum " is just perfect. congratulations!

Lol, basically everyone who saw it thought the exact same way. People would look at me kind of like I was crazy...which is true of course. Thus the need for an asylum
Quoted from smokey_789:Totally rad--I see a used play field siting there--watcha gonna do with it?
Good question. I was thinking about lighting it up and hanging it as wall art, or maybe a coffee table.
Outstanding. I figured it would come out neat but wow. I may want to hire you to come redo my gameroom. I like the name "The Asylum" without the pinball. I love pinball but has a more bar-ish sound to it and that's the look you've clearly nailed. This looks like the kind of bar I would love.
Hopefully you've had some fun in there already.
Just read thru your whole thread. Very classy place. What a difference.
Wish you were in Columbia, MO instead of Columbia, TN. We'd have to be good friends.
Looks like an awesome place to hang out with so much character!
Well done!
I would consider moving the dart board from the tv area....one wrong throw.....
Other than that, I'm mad jealous, came out better that I couldve imagined from start to finish!
Every time I see a picture of someone else's game room that has, say, eight pins, it looks extravagant. Somehow, my own pins don't look that way to me...
Quoted from Squeakman:Is that the new AC/DC widebody pin? Great game room. One of the best I have ever seen.
Haha, no, but the 14/24 mm lens I took the pic with makes it look that way
Quoted from Amarillopinball:please teach me how to become rich
Lol, I'm not an expert in that by any means, but I try and treat everyone like family, and that generally has led to good things.
This room is just amazing. It looked great before all the stuff was in there, but man, that really REALLY looks fantastic now.
Very well done!
Chris
Quoted from sulli10:Great job!! Bringing the WOZ down the steps must have been fun
An escalera is a life saver for sure.
Quoted from Rockytop:Updated pic with new pins in, moved the poker table around, added some LED's above the bar, etc...

Love how the light from the pins light up the ceiling.
Looks better than what I imagined when I looked at the first pictures.
If I could have done one thing different I think I would have painted the floor too, maybe gray.

I guess it's all about taste... I love that floor!
We thought about painting it, but instead went with a stain and seal route because I liked the look of the coal dust and thought that was kind if a nod to the basement's original purpose.
It sure is amazing. I too wondered about the result based on the first picture. I'm blown away. Being done for some time, how much you using it?
