The GI on my Teed Off is out. The fuse blows the second the machine is turned on. From what I have read, this should mean there is a short somewhere in the GI wiring. Any suggestions on the best method to begin testing this? Am I looking primarily at the (nasty and dirty) sockets?

Thanks a bunch!

Thanks pinmike. I have some extra lamp sockets. Considering that there are only about 5 or 6 sockets, and they all look pretty bad, is it just worth the time to replace them all? Would I assume that would be the most likely culprit?

Whoops....just a bit more than 5 or 6. Looks more like 18 or so.

Are there any tricks with using a multimeter?
