there is nothing like your first... and it looks like there is plenty of room for a second...

Quoted from JoeGrenuk:

Good move putting the paper under the legs. That should keep the leg levelers from getting scratched up by the wood floor.

yes, it is good to see he has his priorities in order...

Quoted from fflint_18:

Just like you Chris.
Pins in the living room.
My wife, while cool with my addiction confines my pins to the finished basement.

living rooms are overrated...

she gets half the space there for her keyboards, computers and random other crap... i could EASILY get at least 6 more games on that side... so it is an equitable distribution of a limited resource...

hehehe...
you eventually have to sell 1 or 2 to prove it's not a real sickness
then double

what is this word "sell" you speak of?

i think that i would be more inclined to unwind the coils a bit if i wanted more "powerful" pops (assuming all rebuild procedures are done first, and they are still unacceptable)... the problem with high-tapping to get more powerful pops is that you are high tapping the whole game...

imo, ymmv, etc.

@capslock... don't worry too much about the complexity of the rebuilding the pops, it is actually rather easy... the only pita part is soldering that dadgummed light socket... other than that, just follow the steps described on pinwiki, and you will have it apart and back together again in no time... ime, rebuilding my first pop was easier than rebuilding my first flipper... with the exception of the socket of course, i cussed at that thing mightily before finally getting a good joint... but i am quite possibly the world's worst solderer...

note: pop rebuilding, like a lot of other things, is easier with the playfield out of the machine... furthermore, if you are even thinking you'll get another machine down the line, building a playfield rotisserie is "worth it"...
