Quoted from PinballCharlie:

I find the upper left flipper to be very seriously underutilized.

Use it to knock down the drop targets so you can lock the tower for multi-ball.

My younger brother reached "Tourist Season" last weekend. That is the closest anyone has gotten to "Earthquake" on my machine. (I've owned the game for about a year and a half.)

Quoted from Max_Badazz:

So what does an earthquake have to do with the beach?

Skip to about the 36 min mark.

Quoted from OTTOgd:

Settings didn't change the Auto-Ball-Lock-on-Ball-2 debacle for me.

I don't think there is any way around that.

Quoted from Pinball_Nate:

Why would anyone bother knocking down the drop targets for multiball!? Although it annoys me to no end, if you play the second ball, the tower is already set-up to accept multiball regardless of how you do on the first one

I play every ball like it is my last ball so this makes knocking down the targets important.

My GF got to "Tourist Season" earlier tonight. She was two shots away from "Earthquake Mode"..... (Practicing for 2nd Annual PinPin 2013 March 24th. )
