Finally I am done shopping my AFM. Game had some issues. DMD had the continuous wave, some switches were out, pop bumpers weak and skirts chipped, dirty playfield, scoop and saucer hole wear, saucer LED out, bulbs out etc.
DMD turned out to be the caps on the AV Board - easy fix. Installed Anti-Glare film from Pinball Life.
Replaced some microswitches that were flaky.
Tore the whole playfield down and cleaned. Used polishing kit from Pinball Magic that worked amazing. Repaired the scopes with some wood epoxy and installed cliffy protectors
Cleaned ramps with Windex, Novus 2 & 1 and the wireforms with Nevr-Dull.
Installed new red star posts, white rubber, and red cliffy posts.
Cleaned out all the inserts under playfield with q-tips and novus 1.
Installed LEDs in the inserts and under the plastic ramps.
New mothership plastic and LED saucer board.
Installed Pinbits Plastic Protectors.
Rebuilt both flippers with kit from Pinball Life.
Installed AFM Backboard decal from Little Shop of Games.
Rebuilt the pop bumpers today with new bodies and skirts.
Had a broken post I had to replace on the left that holds the wireform.
New Lockdown Bar, Legs, Leg Levelers and Bolts.
Updated Roms from 1.0 to 1.13 bought from That Pinball Place (John Wart)
Man I'm tired. Well worth it though.
