Not really a thread promoting TWD, but this is the first pin in my house that has seen a lot of action from others instead of just myself. I've had a few come and go, and my MET pro has been here a year without seeing much play from others.

In the last two months since bringing in this game, I've seen my 15 yr. old son play almost daily, and my 16 yr. old daughter has even been playing it frequently, which is a miracle considering she'd rather stare at a screen most of the time, and she never got into the show.

Earlier today my son's girlfriend was over and he decided to try playing it piggy-back style with her (crazy kids). He managed to get a score of just under 60mil with the extra challenge (and distraction) of playing while on her shoulders. His girlfriend now wants her mom to buy a machine after playing my pins, which is cool.

So I'm just curious, any others out there that have seen family members or friends take a sudden interest in pinball after bringing in a certain title? It took a long time for me to see this, and I never thought I would.

I had a JP for a while, but it didn't see that much play from them. That was also a few years ago, maybe it has finally sunk in with them that playing pinball can be a fun alternative to staring at screens all the time. Of course I've been pushing them a bit to play as well, but I like when they do it on their own.
