Never thought about watching the show until the pin was announced. Now I'm binge watching and hooked. Really want the pin to be awesome. I'm very much in wait and see mode.

Based on the video play I've seen, the callouts don't fit and are disappointing. Redneck guy is awful. I think the game would be better with Rick's (real) narration and with callouts from the principle (and most engaging) character's, like Daryl, Merle and Michone for starters. The Gov, etc. But clips from the show would be a welcome substitute.

I like the voice work on Avengers and honestly don't think the game suffers because of it, despite the fact that it's custom and not from the movie cast. Because it's well done and ultimately fits and makes sense. What the TWD voice work is bringing to the table seems random and not very well thought out. Other than no voice work from the show, that's the biggest drawback. It doesn't fit.

I don't get people worrying about "dating" the show with actors pics and voices. The show is here and now. Time dates the show, and everything associated with it. Timelessness has nothing to do with "time" and everything to do with quality. Make the pin great and it will prove timeless. Right now? Not so great.
