I did my first play field swap. Turned out great. It was easier than I thought.
A couple of lighting issues to fix. I have no back box lighting and a bad connection to my right sided go lighting. Plays fast!

Great job, Push! May I ask where you found the topper for your Cyclone?

#8 9 years ago

Looks great! Is that a CPR playfield?

#9 9 years ago

Cpr plastic/playfield. The topper came with the plastics.

I'm about to attempt this same game for my first swap. Any advice?

#11 9 years ago

Also. Where did you get the instruction cards from?

#12 9 years ago

you want to do mine lol...looks great , what did it end up costing ?

#13 9 years ago

I miss my cyclone. Great simple game. Really a great player. Tough as hell jackpot.

Looks awesome man!! I hope my HS comes out this good. I just need to stop buying and start working on existing projects. How long did it take you?

#15 9 years ago

I took my time. I'm not really sure what the total was.
Game-$1300
Playfield-$650ish
Ramps-$225ish
Plastics-$130ish
All other various parts including LEDs
$500ish

Suggestions-
-Use new light sockets and wiring. Removing staples was a pain.
Remove everything with the exception of the lights/wire braid. Use old wiring as a template and run new wiring before you move everything over.
-Get the correct staple gun. I used a mechanical one. Big mistake.
-pre-drill the top of of the play field. I was told not to and I broke off a post in the wood.
