Hello to all
It has been 2 very busy weeks, finished the printing on the Getaway and finalized 4 plastic injection molds.
The first tool that got ready is for the mini light domes 03-8662. After many shops have ask us to make them, in our color code that is adjusted to the original Williams color code, we decided to produce them. Here are some pictures of the parts and the mirror polished plastic injection mold.
We have them in the shown colors in the picture.

The last 14 days we spent on polishing up the injection mold for the ribbed star post. C-951 and C-952. Never hand a such painfull polishing experience.... Tomorrow we will drive to the plastic company and get the tool into the molding machine. Testing, adjusting and color matching. The color matching will be some
compromise in all directions. Have a look at the samples that I could gather, it is about 3 or 4 shades of red and 3 shades of blue.
It is not known if these were originally produced this way, unwilling,
or if the UV light faded them. We will produce them a little brighter than they are, blue, Amber, Red and Clear.
Here are some pictures
What colors would you prefer?

We were ask if we could manufacture the membrane for Apollo 13, the Eight Ball Through Membrane # 181-500-00
All Information has been collect about this membrane, the connecting harness in the original manufacturing was to short, you needed to pull it quite hard to get it conected. We didnt just want to re-produce this part with its mistake, we decided to manufacture with a longer harness. Because we made these Membranes in co-operation with info(et)pinball-parts.shop these membranes are sold by www.pinball-parts.shop Please send Andreas an email if you would like to purchase a membrane for your Apollo 13.

The next tool is more for our playfield production. We made a few more molds for the insert tool. The tool is at the plastic company, but here I found 2 Cavity Plates with newly fitted ejctor pins and holding plate. We are now making sets, cavities with there own ejector pin packed. I this way it is easier for the plastic company to change the plates in the main tool.

Road Show Artwork is at film Nr. 10. I will send you an Link to drop box for you and anybody else that wants to check the artwork.

Quoted from Coyote:

That, is effin' impressive. Well done.

Quoted from mbwalker:

Do you CNC all the molds yourself? That is impressive.

We work together with a tool and die making company. We make the files and they do the milling or spark erosion

Quoted from Xenon75:

Yeah that blue in the picture definitely looks off - a dark blue and lighter blue option would be nice. Also other colors that were never offered before would be excellent to better match some of the games. Purple, yellow, pink, green, to name a few... Thanks for making these!

Quoted from Coyote:

Pink was the first one to come to mind, since that could be used to color-highlight a handful of games, yeah..

Can you send me pictures of these post? Tomorrow morning Ill be with the tool at the plastic company, we will test the tool and adjust colors. I know a picture can be of, but it gives me an Idee in what direction the color goes.
Ill make a video of the tool in the machine and post it once I get back, hopefully it will work right away, otherwise it will be a long day.
If you have pictures, please send them to peter(et)buhamburg.de
Im also going to make some in flourecent red and green, like Turtles and Check Point

Today we got the ribbed post tool running and spend the day adjusting colors.
The original red post have a color range from orange upto red, guess the orange is a faded red post.
On the picture showing orange amber and clear, the front post of the color batches are the post we produced, the post behind are
the original that people sent us. Many thanks at this point for sending me original posts. The black Post are actualy the only blue samples that were send to us.
We tried to match the "blue" have the correct shade mixed, but it looks more like black. Taking less pigments and it looks like teal, taking a bit more and it looks black, we passed on that.

The second picture showing the blue post are our production. We made a light blue and a slichtly darker blue.
C-951 the shorter post and C-952 the longer post.
