Bally, 1994Behold the Phurba Cup. The winner of the 24 Hour Final Battle at The Sanctum here in Connecticut will be forever remembered on this gem. Their name will be engraved as the Grand Champion of the first ever (annual) Final Battle. The winner will have to outlast 39 other competitors for a full 24 hours of match play to be crowned the grand champ.
I like the idea that the winner will have to outlast 40 players, even though it's really 39. When you play 24 hours straight, you might think of yourself as the final opponent to overcome.
