I recently swapped my games room perfect fit blinds which just filtered light to complete blackout blinds. I use to like when I walked past the games room during the day I could see my machines even with them off, it would give me a little smile. Now with the blackout blinds you can’t see anything in there. I could leave the light on in there but it’s not very bright and seems like a bit of a waste of electric for the few times I walk past. So I’ve been thinking about putting my blinds that just filter light back up but I’m not sure how quickly the sunlight will damage the machines.

How quickly does filtered sunlight cause modern cabinets and playfields to fade? Do you block all natural light from your games room?

filtered light should be fine, you just don't want direct sunlight on your game.
