Twilight zone has a post between the flippers. I want to remove it, what's the best way to deal with the hole? It's entirely in the black portion.

I'm thinking of two possible ways.

1. find a plug for it and then put a piece of Mylar over it (where do I get the plug?)
2. Carefully, Fill it, sand it, paint it, clear coat

Thoughts? Does it detract value (it's not a CQ game).

Thanks

More concerning is what appears to be wear from the flipper dragging on the left. Since it's not collector quality as you said, why not leave the hole and just put a piece of mylar over it? If the post is original (I'm not sure on that) when you sell it just carefully lift the mylar and put the post back. A small square of mylar sdtm isn't going to affect gameplay.

I'm not seeing any wear from flipper drag. maybe the pic compression is showing some distortion, the high quality pic I have looks clean.

No Fear came with a post hole and a cover from the factory. Maybe you can find one from someone who installed the post.

I don't think TZ came with a post, but could be wrong with samples/protos etc.

Which path you choose is really up to you. Do you want a project or to just get the game working w/o the post. You should be able to find a plug at Home Depot, Ace Hardware etc.

I don't remember that from mine?

Perhaps it is just an issue with the image, but it looks like a grey wear spot just below your left flipper in the outermost black ring. It could be nothing. Or lint.
