The replacement plastic is not recessed where the hinge mounts like the original. Does this cause any issues during game play? Seems like it would make the ball jump.

I just restored a Funhouse a few months back and I would make sure to recess it. There is also a plastic piece behind the hinge that covers the alley to account for the increased height of the trap door. Here is a partial pic of the plastic behind the trap door.
