I've had people try to offer me more then what I'm selling the game to someone else for. My thing on it is that your reputation is everything and all it takes is one stupid decision like taking a higher offer after you've agreed to a price with someone else. The moment you do something to damage that reputation then nobody else wants to deal with you ever again and in a small niche hobby like this one the word spreads fast.
